The All-American Rejects - Gives You Hell
This song is different from the other songs we have looked at. It is about two Nabors that are complete opposites and the video shows really good juxta position which makes this video really good and interesting. The houses are different and it shows the different classes of people, which in this case in the video is a kinda posh family who dress nicely and work and have money coming in. The other family come out at night and drink and party and to me that seems like a rock stars life living for the night. it is only the males that have a problem with each other and the reason for this is because when one of them are sleeping the other is up (day and night) so they start doing it on purpose so they are fighting for power in my view. You see a lot of close ups of face’s to show the expression on their face’s.
Please use academic language when analysing media texts. This is because the specification requires this in the examination, we might aswell get used to it now!!!
